Anime Character Collection Game (Prototype)
Incremental game about collecting anime characters. Still very early but a lot to come!
Itch.io cuts off the game in most resolutions - make sure to try it out in fullscreen! The game has a white loading bar so it might seem like nothing is happneing... but it has finished loading once you see the door.

I can't wait to see where this game goes!
I love the ASCII art style, but it really feels like the game obscures too many things. It's unclear how expensive Prayer is, so it's hard to feel like you're progressing towards it, and it's not clear how to get better in any way. Having some tooltips (or at least a listed gem price next to the button) is kind of a must-have here! Plus, it's not clear what putting the characters in Idle even does, how to explore, what the coins are for, if upgrading is even possible - much less how to do it , etc etc.
Game crash after 4 NPCs purchased. Most prayer attempts outright fail. May want to eventually have some kind of knowledge shared for how the success or failure functions. Money was spent at seemingly random spots... may be part of the criteria for successful prayer attempts.
